Mr. Richard de Lima is heavily experienced in direct family office investments, finance, and operational business development for 30 years to small and middle-market enterprises. He is the President and Chief Investment Officer for a private wealth single-family office Leaf Capital Partners, a subsidiary of Leaf Equities, LLC., a real estate investment fund and holding Co, and LCP Asia, an international corporate advisory practice. He is a Board of Investment Advisory Committee Director of a European multiple family office, Monaco Private Capital, Board of Advisors for LuxBlue Hospitality, a worldwide hospitality asset fund, and strategic financial & operational advisor to Cordillera Hydroelectric Power (Coheco Badeo) for the 1000-megawatt, two 500-megawatt and 60-megawatt located in Benguet, Philippines.
Mr. de Lima spent a span of 10 years underwriting over $1.5B in investment banking transactions and asset manager of a $750M proprietary fund. In addition, a very successful entrepreneur who was responsible for launching a successful food and beverage company, fashion apparel line, music import under LDI Media Entertainment in the late 1980s
Mr. de Lima holds a master’s in international economics and Finance at the University of Rutgers and did a 5-year study program on International Business Law and Legal studies at Fordham University, New York. He also held financial securities licenses, series-7, 24, 55 and 63. He is a current member in multiple single office private member organizations around the world. In addition, he is a key-note and panelist speaker to many investment/business forums and conferences worldwide.
Steven Insalaco
Managing Director and Risk Management
Mr. Steven Insalaco is the Managing Director for Leaf Capital Partners and President of Calgary Enterprises, Inc., a Corporate Consulting and Family Office Advisory Company he independently formed in 1988.
Mr. Insalaco is an established seasoned executive professional with over 40 years of C-Level Management, Corporate Consultant and Family Office Advisory. Successfully managed a $3.5 billion healthcare division and provided financial and operational business services to a broad range of private, Fortune and other public companies. Some of these companies include ExxonMobil, Penn Central Transportation, W.R. Grace and Company, Northrop Grumman and Griffon Corporation.
For both growth and underperforming companies, he is a profit-focused, problem-solving, solution implementing, C-Suite operating business management executive. His combined business experience includes strategic financial, marketing, organizational leadership, investment, and corporate finance transaction skills that are focused on improving corporate valuations. Utilizing his experience, he provides value-added business solutions to organizations that result in increased revenue, lower costs, improved margins, operating efficiencies, and valuation.
Education: Mr. Insalaco holds a BA in Social Science/Economics and MBA in Financial Management.
Military Service: Served in US Army Intelligence (Army Security Agency) and was at the Strategic Studies Institute, Army War College. He held a Top Secret Security Clearance and was Honorably Discharged.
